Kevin Nolan
Is there/will there be a new admiration for this bloke now he isn't a guaranteed starter?

I don't think he deserves the stick he gets from some of our fans. I genuinely think he also want's this club to do well, and I wouldn't have anything against him being a squad player, coming off the bench to steady the ship i.e. the arsenal game.

He has scored some important goals for us over the last few years, and I think he should get a little more credit than he does.

Re: Kevin Nolan
He gets about £50k a week in credit for doing fuck all.

So in answer to your question no there is no new admiration for him and no there won't be any either.

Re: Kevin Nolan
He is awful and would struggle in a league 1 side.

There is no point signing a replacement on massive wages who will be 6th choice when everyone is healthy however and we likely can't afford a proper CM so we might be stuck with him which is scary.

Mark Noble deserves better than having this slower fatter prick next to him we can't continue with both.

Re: Kevin Nolan
A subtitute should be used to make an impact either in need of a goal of keeping things tight. Nolan has proven that is past him now. The only impact he makes is in the clubs bank balance and his fat footprints in the turf.

Never respected him, never will.

Re: Kevin Nolan
Yes he has a contract that takes him to the end of season and he's entitled under law so little point in slagging him off just because he gets paid a lot. Blame the directors that gave him that long contract...

He played a part against L'Arse coming on and playing well. Even looked like a footballer with fresh legs when all around were knackered which is the only way he can cope at this level now. He may even get a tempting offer elsewhere so I think we should give some respect to the Scouse git...

Ideal as a sub, as long as he gets on with it

Re: Kevin Nolan
Gets my respect for the first two seasons worth of work. Thereafter he was clearly declining.

Not his fault he's on £50k a week and not his fault he was picked when under performing. In fact, our apparent saviour is still picking him, so should he get another run in the team and look out of place, the blame will be levelled at Bilic.

Re: Kevin Nolan
I don't get the booing of him, shows a lack of respect and is just a negative on the team morale. He might still chip in with a few goals off the bench this season.

Re: Kevin Nolan
Why would I admire a bloke who gets sent off in the first 10 minutes of our biggest local derby and then twice in the space of a month when we're in relegation trouble?

Re: Kevin Nolan
A bloke on Talksport last night said "I don't want Barton. He's a liability. And he is pretty average. Not worth the bother. But, then again, if it means the end of Nolan then get him in".

Absolute fucking tit. Showing up West Ham fans all over the place. Disrepectful cunt.

Mr Polite 9:59 Wed Aug 12
Re: Kevin Nolan
I think a lot of fans would take Barton if it meant getting rid of Nolan.

Why is that disrespectful?

Re: Kevin Nolan
Griff, I remember his stupid sending off against Millwall. If we'd have lost that, the abuse he gets would have come a lot sooner.

Liability on his day for sure.

I won't forget some of his monumental fuck ups, some of which seem premeditated, but on the same hand I can't forget the positive affect on the team when we needed a leader or someone to pop up with a well needed goal. He's shit now, proper shit, but he wasn't always shit.

Because it is. Nolan deserves a bit more respect than some monkey going on the radio saying how much he doesn't want a player but will take him if it means getting rid of Nolan.

You may think it but don't say it. It's fucking disprespectful to the bloke and shows West Ham fans up for just being mongs.

Whatever you say about Nolan and his form last season he has done well for us. It is the end of his time now imo but that's no reason to go live on the radio and crucify the geezer.

Fucking pathetic.
